Mint (pudina) chutney

Mint chutney is a dip served with many starter dishes and gives a nice flavour to a dish.It is a very delicious chutney.It goes well with sandwich, batata vada, Moong dal rice, moong dal khichdi, samosa ,tandoori recipes etc. It can be prepared in different ways.Today let us learn how to prepare Mint Chutney by following this easy recipe.


1 cup roughly chopped mint leaves (pudina)
2 cups roughly chopped coriander (dhania)
4 green chillies , roughly chopped
1/2 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
salt to taste
2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice


Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer to a smooth paste using enough water.
Serve immediately or refrigerate till use.

Tip: Add more quantity of coriander leaves  with respect to mint leaves for good taste. As more quantity of mint leaves makes the chutney bitter in taste.
